Privacy Policy

THENN ("we", "us") is an AI photo studio app for iOS. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell your data, and your photos are used only to create your photos.

1. What we collect

Photos you upload — used solely to generate your requested photoshoots. A device identifier — used to track your credit balance server-side; THENN requires no account, email or phone number. Purchase records — processed by Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat); we never see your payment details. Basic technical logs — such as API request metadata, used for reliability and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your data

To generate your photos: your uploads are sent to our image-generation provider (fal.ai) to produce your requested shots. To operate credits and purchases: your device identifier maps to a credit ledger; purchase events from the App Store grant credits. To keep the service safe: rate limiting, abuse detection and debugging.

3. No model training

We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not permit our processors to do so under our agreements with them. Your uploads exist to render your photos — nothing else.

4. Storage & retention

Uploads and generated results are stored in Cloudflare R2 (object storage) so you can access your gallery. Credit balances are stored in Cloudflare KV. You can request deletion of your uploads and results at any time (see Section 8); we may also purge stored media periodically.

5. Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, networking), fal.ai (image generation), Apple (payments), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

6. What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party ads. We do not share your photos with anyone except the processors listed above, and only to generate your photos. We do not require or store your name, email address or contacts.

7. Children

THENN is intended for users aged 18 and over. Newborn and family styles are designed for parents photographing their own children; you must have the right to upload any photo you submit.

8. Your rights & deletion

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data. Because THENN is account-free, deletion works via your device: contact us with your request and we will remove your stored uploads, results and credit records.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the new effective date above. Continued use of THENN after changes means you accept the updated policy.
